Steve Job’s Introduction Of The Very First Ipod

Here’s a video of Steve Jobs giving the introduction of the very first Ipod… the rest is music history.

Also worth a look are some of the PRICELESS comments that were made on the macrumors forum 5 years ago after the Apple keynote announcing the Ipod.

“Lots of hype. Now I gripe, 400 bucks! Is Steve nuts? Digital hub??? What a flub! Stupid name. Who to blame? Come on folks-no more jokes…”

“iPoop… iCry. I was so hoping for something more.”

“Great just what the world needs, another freaking MP3 player. Go Steve! Where’s the Newton?!”

“I still can’t believe this! All this hype for something so ridiculous! Who cares about an MP3 player? I want something new! I want them to think differently! Why oh why would they do this?! It’s so wrong! It’s so stupid!”

…Fast forward 5 years later and we of course see the Ipod with it’s dominant 78% market share

I for one, can’t wait for the I-flea to come out :)

Yes, I know it’s a parody video :)
