Share Your Drawings With The World With Sketch Swap

sketchswap

What’s the fun of drawing something and keeping it to yourself?

Share your art skills using Sketch Swap, which uses this simple concept…

  • Draw something for the world
  • Get someone else’s drawing in return

No Photoshop skills needed. All the tools you need are on the site itself — A simple sketchpad for you to go crazy on.

Finally, as an added bonus, you don’t just get the finished picture — you get to see how the person on the other end actually drew it as the sketch process is animated right before your very eyes.

Perhaps you’ll discover the next Picasso in the making? Or probably not — either way it’s good fun.

Update 10th July 2006: Here’s one of my pieces:

Sketch Swap is kinda cool. Only thing, can we choose pen size/line thickness and pen profile? And, how do u draw with a mouse!? Hmm…Need skill!

  2. James Yeang Says:

Don’t think those options are available… can’t even see any erase button… but it’s easier than you think to create something reasonably good. I think they’re trying to keep it simple, and make the drawing process as quick and natural as possible…

it is frustrating if i can’t even draw a straight line!!! Now i will take more than just one night to draw a reasonably good line!! haha!

Don’t worry about straight lines… It’s called sketch swap, not masterpiece swap :)
