If i have an option, I will not using streamyx. Very lousy. Pay RM99 for 1 MB but the speed slow like turtle. I think the price should be RM10 or less. Someone should help us as the internet user to stop this kind of monopolism. I hope P1Wmax can expand faster. Hopefully they can feel the hardship of strong competition. Surely i will not using streamyx if i found more better ISP than this

not much diff before and after the p2p shaping, international mmo still lags. They just resell the extra bandwidth that they got from the throttling and that just blows! QUIT SELLING WHAT YOU DON’T HAVE!!

One year since original post and things only got worse, traffic shaping to the max, no new faster lines to the rest of the world, etc, etc. While the world moves onto ADSL2/24mbit and fiber, Malaysia is literally lagging behind with cripples 1-4mbit lines and 100’s of whining users, with TN doing nothing at all, and why should they people only seem to complain and still give their money. Where i come from people would stop paying fees until problems are solved, maybe even take it courts. TM uses excuses of “heavy” users that d/l 100GB a month, I used to download over 300GB a month on my ADSL2 line back in Holland and i *never* had any complaints form my isp, unlimited broadband should be unlimited, not crippled by traffic shaping. Also torrent is used for a LOT of legal things such as distrebuting Unix distro’s and updates for games and such. Also there is http://www.legaltorrents.com and many more like it. As long as TM nets customers eat up the excuses and keep paying their monthly fees, nothing will ever change, google on it and you will see people are complaining since 2005 and almost 3 years later things only got worse. i m not those “f**K!!streamyx” people, i do understand technical things well. i work in 1 company which managing few cybercafe in KL, i m incharge of all the technical things included internet lines. i wont blame them anything when i having trouble with my connectivities BUT AT LEAST when i called up to make my report to them.. i m really glad that i dont have to wait for 30-40mins each call. cant they manage the work more faster?? tmnet 1300-88-9515 no money pay staff salary?? today 6pm 18-10-2007 all my cybercafe disconnect or having big trouble on internet connection. i m holding 7 adsl and 3 xdsl account username in information. they expecting me to sit on the phone and call this 1300-88-9515 which is this reaspone “doo~ dooo~ doo~” i cant even get to talk with them!! i tot it was my phone line problem.. i use my hand phone and called up my frens to help me call “1300-88-9515″ can we cant make it. even when i can get thru them. i really got no choice and have to made 20mins talk every conversation each adsl account 1 by 1!!!!

i cant remember i wasted how much time on them!!

other then what i experince abv.. i got a real joke here.. try surf at this website “http://www.netmyne.com.my/server_host/network.asp” actually 1 day i m looking for to have a server co-locate service from them so i can manage my server nearer, but somehow did u guys notice that the top banner on this website “customer interaction center 1300-88-9515″, when i call up this number regarding the server co-locate services package in information.. u wont believe when when i said “NO ONE IN THAT 1300-88-9515 THAT I CALLED CAN ANSWER YOUR QUESTION” and u must be curious what i ask? i ask this below

them: hi may i help u and bla bla bla
me: hi, i need to know the netmyne server so-locate services package *note: in the website did not state the pricing, and thats y i called up”
them: what is your streamyx username sir? *i m asking netmyne packages, what do i need to giv them my streamyx username??
me: miss, i m a not a streamyx user and i wants to have a netmyne packages.. could u tell me more on the package?
them: uh…but i have to know your streamyx username 1st.. anyway r u infront of your computer screen?
me: =.= *what respone should i gave??

after that i manage to make them understand whats is my needs and they said “no one in this floor knows the netmyne packages information” then i ask.. pls do gave me any sales desk number and they tell me to call “100″ to get it. i call “100″ and they tell me i should go tmpoint. at the end that 1300-88-9515 cant help u anything on netmyne. and at the means.. if anyone in future needs netmyne information.. forget bout phone call, no one will know what u need.. we all have to go back to the stone age.. walk to the store =.=”

Tmnet, Please do something to improve your service. Your customer is working hard to pay for your service so should you be working hard to give all your customer a good broadband.

Hi, I am a streamyx subscriber for 1 year already. Overall, I am not satisfy with the speed and performance. Tmnet should limit P2P connections. Besides that, Streamying video from websites outside malaysia is also slow. Why should it be call Internet? I thing just call streamyx as intranet because it’s fast in malaysia but turtle outside.
BTW, I’ve just join Redesign Malaysia and hope to see more improvement or have other ISP to give us good Broadband.

I have signed up for the Tmnet online guard for the past 8 months. Due to virus and re-formating of the PC, I was not able to find the speed up icon. I surt the Tmnet and was also not able to find the installer for the speed up. i am not so familiar and could you assist me. I also forgotten my id and password.

I’m having an internet account and they’ll charge me for extra downloading. Is there any way to download whatever I want without letting the internet service providers to know so that they can’t charge me for downloading

after 3 months of having my torrent at 15% (and believe me, there ARE enough seeds) i risked my short term memory and joined multiple forums and groups. i even learn the JAPANESE and KOREAN LANGUAGE for god’s sake. the things i’d do for direct download links… and you know what? although i sometimes get the rare 0.2MB dl speed (which calls for a celebration) i’d get disconnected merely a few hours after that. upon reconnecting, my dl speed is 200-400 bps.
i don’t visit pornsites, i don’t download random programmes, i don’t use storage medias that don’t belong to me, and my pc is CLEAN.
so i ask a rhetorical question. why? WHY? why do you tease me like this, TM? all i’m asking for is a raw japanese video. because of you, i don’t even need subtitles anymore and you can’t even consider that as a good news.
drama ends. curtain falls. off to mourn.

Streamyx is shitz, beginning of this year it was alright and after calling NUMEROUS (everyday for 2 weeks) they were finally able to locate some socket problem w my particular line but NO what’s worse is that i had to pay someone to come look at my line and GUESS WHAT?! there’s nothing wrong with it lol. Piece of sh**.
I’m already seeking out alternatives…i dont mind paying more for something which actually prooves to provide better speeds. The bluehyppo can go ram a wall and pretend to say they’re upgrading their sh** but all they’re doing is for face value when “behind the scenes” they’re just lazing away pretending to care about what all of us here say. ^^ sh**myx
