Ever wonder if a particular website was really down, or if it was a bad Internet connection which was keeping you out?

downforeveryoneorjustme.com is an extremely simple free web service which tells you if the site is down from their end as well.  Just type in the web site’s name, press, a button – and presto – No more wondering if the rest of the world has the same problem as you :)

    If downforeveryoneorjustme.com down as well? How can we check? Sometimes, it’s geographical area matters. I hope downforeveryoneorjustme.com is able to ping a website from other countries as well. ^^

    Nah, it’s just from their locale. It’s not meant to be a systematic multi-location pinging service. The chances of it being down at the same time as you as a matter of coincidence would be less than 0.1% I would imagine.

    I prefer http://www.checksite.us because it also checks URLs and not just top level domains – plus if the site is down it can keep checking for me until it comes back up and email me.

    YMMV.
