Describing how small an object is can be difficult at times. If you’re the type of person who thinks that seeing is believing, then you’ll find Pective very useful. Pective is a free web service which helps show you pictures of objects scaled to actual size on your screen. Now you can have an actual idea of size rather than trying to visualize it. Of course this would work best for objects which are smaller than your screen :)

Truly amazing, nice idea. Size was true to the millimeter on items I’ve compared (CD, credit card), once I had provided the size of my screen (absolutely required ;) – Thanks for this nice discovery!

Thanks Transcontinental. Also, if you find that any item is off, you can put down a vote against it so as a community they will self-correct
