More search innovation from the big guns in search coming your way. This time AllTheWeb (powered by Yahoo) chimes in with a blazing fast “search-as-you-type” search mechanism, where search results are displayed as you type in the query without even having to hit a “search” key.
It also comes with instant search refinement suggestions. Type in “Liverpool” and it suggests possible items you may have been searching for e.g. Liverpool Football Club, Liverpool University etc. This means you don’t have to retype your query like what happens now with Google. Just one click and you’re there.
