Thanks for the great list with plugins, i have some favourites to, including the all known "All IN SEO "as well as the easy privacy policy plus SEO friendly images (got some great results with it)and last but not least pretty links (great for cloacking) affiliate links...

CommentLuv is a great idea. I wish my blogspot could have it. All blogs should have this plugin.
Another great one is so commentors can edit their comments for a few minutes after pressing the submit button - good for fixing spelling.

Good article.I have now found enough motivation to migrate from Google's blogger to a self owned wordpress blog.

Very useful. But I see this website doesn't use them. There are some other better plugins like Kismet for anti-spam is a must.

One small correction: Point number 7 contains the same images as 8th I am guessing thats a mistake
